Hiya,
Has anyone tried this combination? If so, does it improve reception in built up areas?
Cheers,

The 3450 is much better at bringing in signal than previous 3000/3400/3420 sleeves, so you should be okay without an MCX antenna. However, if you do want an MCX, you will get a little more signal if you placed it on the roof of the car, as it then has a much better view of the sky. |

Just a suggestion, but you might save £10 if you order one from Performance Products on 08707 870700. Their aerial, which came with my Snooper S6R-Neo costs £34.95 plus p&p, and works equally well with my Navman 3450. :D _________________ Tim |

Wow, at that price I might get a spare myself! Do you know the manufacturer's code? I can't find it in the GPS section and searching for MCX produces no results. _________________ Tim |

Fastlink: A549
Or if you want to navigate thru and check out the other stuff:
Accessories, Navman, 3450 with EU maps

Sorry to be a pain, but I still can't find this on Dabs.com's website! The fast link didn't work, neither did a search for antenna, etc. Heeeeelp. _________________ Tim |

Morning Tim,
If you look at the title of the post that states the price, you'll see it's a link for www.globalpositioningsystems.co.uk..
Just click the link on the right of this page ;)
