What's the best way to remove SP1 from the ICN 530? I need to check something! |

Delete everything - reload from CD which doesn't have SP 1 on it.
Rather you than me! 8O
Do you need to "check something" that much. _________________ Navman ICN 520

I'm not sure if you need to delete everything, even. It might work if you just have the application CD on the tray and click on 'Update software on iCN' from the Navman Desktop. _________________ Tim |

Thanks, I did end up deleting just about everything on the Navman and the Navman software and active sync. off the PC, otherwise things seem to re-sync back to the Navman.
On trying to re-install from the CD I had a scare when it asked me to activate the maps; the activation codes printed on the labels did't work!
Luckily I tried the 'Recover Registration Information from Navman' option and everything worked. Odd that I wasn't aware I actually had any registration information to recover!
Anyhow uninstalling SP1 didn't have the desired effect so I'll probably put it back on now... |
