How do I change the type of keyboard for CoPilot? Initially when I installed CoPilot, it defaults to the fat finger keyboard. Now, its giving me the querty keyboard. I tried changing it in the CoPilot Setting menu but somehow it ignores my selection and keep defaulting back to the querty keyboard. Whats going on here? Bug?
I assume that you either mean qWerty rather than qUerty keyboard, or that you are using a non-uk/us setup.
It will help if you provide details of your hardware, OS (2003, 2003SE, or 2005),and which version of the software you are usinq, and which edition of the software you are using (EU, or US). Also, if you are using it in landscape, or portrait mode.

All this information is significant.
Yes, it's qwerty...sorry. I'm running CoPilot 6 AU (Australian) on my Asus A632 GPS PDA. OS is Windows Mobile 5 on portrait mode.
After all that - sorry, but I won't be able to give much help.
As you are having trouble with the 'keyboard' which is I believe handled as an extension to the OS, and I have no experience with mobile 2005.
If I understand correctly, the Australian version also uses maps from a different supplier (EU-Navteq, US-ALK), but I don't know if this will have any significance.
It would also help someone else give an answer if you give the full version number as found in Menu | Options | About
for example mine shows v6.0.0.68
I also noted that this is something which has not always been the case - do you remember when it first happened, and if you changed anything else around that time?
It may turn out just to be something which has been upset, and a complete reload of your PDA (from scratch) may solve your issue, which unless someone knows exactly what the problem is - I fully expect you will be advised to do.
Hopefully, someone else will be able to help further.
Just a thought, but have you tried changing to landscape mode, making the changes and see if they stick then. If they do, try changing back to portrait mode and see if the change sticks?
