Can anyone please help?? First post so please bear with me.
O2 XDA Mini-S - Windows Mobile 5.0
Arkon Wired GPS Cradle
TomTom Navigator 5.21
I cant get the GPS device to recognise - "No GPS device" I have tried changing com ports, I have also edited registry to show GPS status in Settings Connections. I have tried using NMEA GPS port too.
The cradle and software worked on my old Vodafone VPX unit by selecting the TomTom Cable GPS.
Tearing my hair out now. |

Might want to try a forum specific to your model. This is the Stolen GPS forum - unless you have stolen this one and can't get it to work??? |

As to the question, I'm not too sure.

is it this model you have ?
if so ive been told it only works with serial over bluetooth so a cabled receiver wont work with it but i could have gotten the wrong end of the stick. |

Maybe when it was moved, a note could have been added?? _________________ -------------------------------------------------------

Sorry for any confusion caused chaps, I moved it earlier whilst on the A1M, I couldn't post a reply as I lost GPRS for a while (and no I wasn't driving) - Mike |

I had probs setting up a Holux powered cradle with an XDA. Eventually we got it going by messing about with the baud rate, cant remember the exact settings, could have been 9600.
The port was serial cable on com1 |
