Hi
I have just sold my Navman icCN520 as I have upgraded to the iCN550 with TMC - how do I do a master reset on my old one so that it defaults back to manufacturers settings?
Thanks |

Moved this one out of POI Sync forum.
On the back of the 520, turn the battery off. That ought to do it. _________________ Tim |

I'm not sure that will set it back to 'factory' settings. When you turn off and on the battery switch, it does a hard reset but retains all the info you have about favourites, POI's, recent addresses, etc. I think you'd have to manually remove everything or reload all the software and map data back onto the disk. |

When i took my original one back to the shop due to a fault, I did everything manually, deleting all the info I had put in it, it takes about 5 -10 minutes. I checked it after and found no trace i had ever been there, Which is fine if all your doing is selling it on. _________________ 2 x ICN-510 units now, 1 USA Unit and 1 UK Unit.
