I'm having an issue with a ov2 file I created. Or I guess I should say with the bmp. Once it is loaded and I am browsing the map I see a few of the icons when zoomed way out. As I come in to a closer view of the individual POI's they disappear.
Is this normal?
The other POI's seem to be functioning properly. The bmp is sized at 22x22. Any ideas? Or is this Operator Error? |

I should probably tell which version I'm using. I'm using v5.21 on an ipaq 2215. |

It does happen. I assumed it was because there was a limit to how many icons it would display at any given time.
As you zoom in very close all those in the Map area should show. As long as there aren't too many. _________________ Richard

I can zoomin really tight so that I know that there is only one and it still doesn't show. It probably is an issue with the number of points. I have approximately 500 geocaches in the ov2 file. Thanks. |

OV2 Files can contain many thousands of locations with no problems. For example the old, now banned, Postcode Files which had about 200,000 locations in each.
The only thing I can think of is that the data in the ov2 has beeen corrupted. Have you tried verifying the data with a reader like POIEdit? _________________ Richard
