I am just about to buy a Tomtom Go 700, but I have just seen a review that suggests that the screen is difficult to see in sunny conditions. I am going to be using it to drive around Europe a lot, so this is a bit of a concern.
Is it true that the 700 is difficult to see in very sunny conditions?
Thanks for any help before I buy. |

methinks GO 700 is much better than the original GO Classic screen. I didn't have any problems with it driving in France in August last year. |

I had an anti-glare film and a sun shade on my Classic GO.
I now have a 700 and I haven't got round to doing either. I suppose I haven't had a problem and forgot about it!! The new models certainly are a lot better.
There are solutions to glare out there which you can use later if necessary. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

I wouldn't worry about the glare being too bad on the 700. You can also position it where it's least likely to get direct sunlight. If it does become a problem, which it shouldn't, you can always buy a screen protector to minimize glare. |
