The simple answer Merc is Yes.
If you have a pc and card reader, just copy everything to a folder on your hard drive.
Alternatively you can use a number of pieces of software.
Remember if you have a card reader, the sd card is seen simply as another 'drive'
Hope this helps

I would say that any PDA user should have Sprite Backup. its invaluable. Will save you hours and most probably save your bacon at some point. It's a bit like Norton Ghost for your PDA. Will create a backup on your PC but will also create an exe file on your SD card. I was in the US and whilst completely sozzled in a bar, I soft reset my PDA whilst inadvertantly holding the power button....... AKA a hard reset 8O No worries. Just ran the exe on the SD card and it was back to what it was last time I backed up. No need for the lappie at all.
However, my business partner lost everything while up north for 3 days and was screwed. No email, no contacts and, god forbid, no SatNav. I think he's finally got the point now and maybe he'll invest. Worth every penny.
Not exactly related to backing up the SD card but just thought I'd share. _________________ Tom Tom GO 720

Well, that's the one thing I've learnt for today.
Didn't realise that if you perform a soft reset whilst holding the on/off button it performs a hard reset.
Will have to be carefull in future as it is quite easy to be holding the Acer with the thumb on/near the on/off button when doing a soft reset.
On a slightly different note. Another good bit of software is
SPB Pocket plus - This is a front end utility that effectively turns the today screen (front page) into a desktop ie. you can have your most used icons right infront of you so you don't have to use the damn menu everytime.

Just so you know I was refering to my Orange SPVM2000 rather than the acer. I believe ther's a more discreet toggle switch on the N35 so I don't think the power+reset combination does the same. So you can rest easy Mikey :-) _________________ Tom Tom GO 720

Thanks for clearing that up.
However, now I've only got a few hours to learn something today. _________________ Mikey

Serial killer Charles Manson auditioned for the Monkees. There you go. Take the rest of the day off. _________________ Tom Tom GO 720
