Hi i wonder if any one can help. i have a 520 and was wandering if there are any maps available for green laneing or more rural maps for hiking ect. hope this is posted in the right place. many thanks Fireclown............ |

Don't think so, the unit locks to a road. I use a Garmin Vista, which is waterproof, for that sort of application. |

Nice to see I'm not the only muppet wanting to ask this question.
Can't say I'm too pleased with the anwser though. 8O
I took my nice new iCN 520 with me laning the other day and and thought joy, it's showing this white that I'm on, that was till I got to the point that the road just stopped on the Navman.
There must be a patch out there somewhere, if you here of anything I would be greatful. And of course visa-versa.

Well, icn does stand for 'in car navigation'. It's not for walking unless you're going to walk along streets. You're much better trying to buy one of the units designed for walkers. |

Your best bet is probably a PDA with MemoryMap on it. |
