Has anyone got this working with a Polstar PGM-111 wired mouse receiver??????
I have tomtom 5.10 installed and ready to go but cannot get it to recognise the receiver. There are settings in both tomtom and windows mobile 5.0 - managed, baud rate, port etc. I believe it should be set to 4800 baud on comm 1 but dont know about managed/unmanaged tick box.
I have downloaded a polstar diagnostic program and it detects the receiver OK on comm 1.
Anyone any ideas, please help? |

yeap it works on nema 4800 serial 1 and tomtom wired gps. also works on driver 1.50 and gps engine,
get "pda tester" from polstar's website and you can test the unit you have,
its abit slow but soon locks to 4-6 sats.
based in the uk |

ah found the driver ok.
right, when gpsdash see's the gps on com1, its got what looks like a greek or russian name in the dialogue, and in tomtom its string of random letters and ?, for example 'sar??sa?? ??re??er com1:'
wtf is going on?! |

Me thinks that we need to wait for an update from tomtom because I sure as hell cant get it working on my x51. Program works fine, can scroll the map etc. but it doesnt seem to be abel to read from com1 which is what the receiver is using.
Lets hope it comes sooner rather than later! |
