Heres my problem.
I have a P910i and a globalsat BT-338 but I dont have any software.
I use cars and motorbikes so was thinking I could use my existing bluetooth head set... can I
Which lead t the following questions.
1.can I buy TomTom mobile five without TomTom gps unit.
2.Will the P910i allow multiple devices to synch with it.
Would I be better off selling the globalSat unit and buying TomTom RIDER...expensive price to pay but at least im not stuck to my battered P910i and the multi connection bluetooth is not an issue...I think.
Can anybody give me some advise....first post and im new to gps etc.Could really do with some expert advice...Thanks |

I'm not sure the P910i can support multiple BT connections? TomTom Mobile can only be purchased as a bundle with GPS.
I have a RIDER and its a great unit, there is no information on a car mount for it though but I expect one to be available.
I'd wait for RIDER, it's waterproof naturally, works superbly on a motorbike (and you can use it as a handsfree to yourt P910) and will work fine in the car when a car cradle becomes available. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Wow...someone that has rider...
1.Whats the deal on the BT head set.Is it supplied ?? if so...
1.Is it smal enough to fit under a helmet without being a pain ?
2.Can you use any head set.
3 Are there speakers in case you wanted to use it in car ?
4.Where did you get it from....got a high price tag
ps if I did use my P910i would I just not get calls through head set ??...guess id still have to get a new reciever as you cant buy software only.ps would it even work with a different BT reciever ? |

It's an early review unit so I can't discuss details. But it comes with a BT Dongle which accepts a 3.5mm speaker/mic lead, a helmet specific headset and a standard earbud headset.
The issue of a car mount with speakers (the RIDER has no internal speaker) has not been finalised. _________________ Darren Griffin |
