Afternoon All!
Newbie here! I have just got my hands on a Qtek 2020i (pretty much the same as a XDA2i) and I have also bought TomTom 5 direct from TomTom and God diddnt I pay for it! All works lovley but I am annoyed that my postcode and road is not on the map!! Ok my street is only 3 years old but even so...
In my fist week of use I have found yet another postcode thats not in the TomTom 5 software, and its starting to get frustrating.
Does anybody know If TomTom are going to update this map anytime soon?
And just to settle my mind can somebody with TT5 pleaqse just check that they dont have these postcodes in their software,
RG306BR
RG12 1RL
Many thanks to any1 reading this post that can offer any advice!

I have the basic UK map installed (not UK plus) and both postcodes are there. Silly question - you did go onto the second menu page which has the postcode icon?

Hi Robin,
Yep - I am using the postcode menu - I have been all through the manual and am sure I am using the correct function. |

Can you find any 7 digit postcodes at all or are you seeing only 5 digits?

You need to install the UK postcode file onto the SD card. It can easily be installed from the CD containing the UK map.
It may be installed already. Check for Great_Britain.postal file in the zip folder on the SD card. If it is already installed you need an empty TomTom folder in the root of the SD card to enable TTN5 to find it.

Put a new empty folder on the root of the SD card called TOMTOM.
