Got TomTom5 installed on a MIO168 running fine but I have a POI question. How can I make the POI lists relative to where I actually am? They always come up relative to my home address not where I really am! |

I think as long as you have a GPS fix then it will come up relevent to your current location. If you don't have a fix it will give distances from your home location. |

Tried it this morning about 15 miles from home. Used it to get me there and had a GPS fix fine but it still wouldn't change the POI lists? |

are you clicking navigate to then poi etc or doing it a different way?
Wherever I am it seems to navigate to the closest to my current position not my home. |

Well I thought I was doing it that way but I'll give it another try and see what happens, making sure I do it that way! |

Just had a play with mine and I can't actually see another way of doing it so you must be doing it that way. If its the case of it still won't display the poi's in distance order from your current position then I am at a loss as to how to help. Maybe someone else can shed some light on it.
It works ok for me though, travelling home from Liverpool I noticed the motion lotion tank was a little low so I punched in Navigate to, POI, petrol station picked the nearest one on my route and hey presto. |

Just went for a quick drive to get away from home location and tried it again and it worked! I've noticed now that when you navigate to POI, the bottom of the display says 'With reference to xxxxx'. I can only guess that this morning when I tried it I was on an unmarked track on an airfield it couldn't reference it to anything? Make sense? |

I think that could have been your problem, I can't understand why that would happen though. Its a bit crazy if thats the case. |
