When running Tom Tom Navigator 5 on my Orange SPV M2000 it is in full screen mode with no menu bar at the top. This means that I am unable to access anything else whilst Tom Tom is running. The only answer is to exit Tom Tom completely. Is is normal? Can I change a setting somehwere so it Tom Tom will run in windowed mode? |

Unfortunately just another example of Tom Tom's lazy programmers doing their own thing rather than adhering to PPC conventions. All you can do is fire up mail or contacts with one of the hard buttons & use the menu from there.
Lets hope that Microsoft have adopted a similar philosophy with PPC 2005 that they started with W2k where the OS simply will not allow the lazy or incompetent to run code that doesn't conform. |

Thanks for that Crocodile. It's what I feared. I'll try the hard button route as you suggest. I can't believe that a major player like Tom Tom can get away with taking over the whole PDA. |

With Tomtom Nav 3 I have found that the Windows 'Start' button only disappears on the Navigation screen but it is present when I look at the Split screen or Map views. Check your TTN5 to see if this is the same for that, I have a problem with my TTN5 as it's not running at the moment but hope to have this resolved soon. |
