Have finally got E200 to work with Mobile 4.43 with non-TomTom BT-77 receiver and without subscribing to Traffic etc or without changing GPS files! Huge thanks to StuartM for his advice on setup in other post! Anyone got problems with similar setup give me a shout. :D
However, I can't stop the screen staying bright with is hammering my phone battery. is there a way of telling TomTom to use phone's standard power saver settings? Tks |

No, TomTom haven't implemented that yet (others have).
However, backlights nowadays are white LEDs that consume nearly nothing. Bluetooth drains the battery much, much more. _________________ Lutz

Tks for the response. Would the Bluetooth cause me to drain a battery in about 3 1/2 hours on my e200 when running Tomtom mobile? Tks |

As one of the main problems with the e200 was a crap battery life, when i had one it would last at the most 1 day with bluetooth on all day and that was not using Tom Tom, so it does surprise me the length of time you are getting, especially if you are using it as a phone too. My advice is either get a car charger or upgrade to a C500, that has a much better battery life. |
