I have a Mitac Mio P350 PDA (built in sat receiver), running windows mobie 5 and currently TomTom Navigator 6.010 with 6.75 Western Europe maps....so far so good and it works really well so I would like to update the (2005) maps that I have....
.......no can do
TomTom say that only Nav 6 is compatible and they aren't going to releae any more map updates
I can't understand why they say Nav 7 (or similar) won't run as it is advertised as suitable for other phones and PDA's running WM 5.
Anyone tried that combination with success ?
Anyone care to explain why it might not work - all TT support say is that "it is not on our compatibility list"....but of course you could always purchase one of our devices !!!....erm, no thank you
Failing that what CAN I run on my PDA.....I really like TT Nav, I don't let it lead me astray as, rather than relying on it 110% I use it as an aid together with my own brain !
Thanks |

I haven't used TT since v5, so not sure about 7 on the P350. What I can say, if indeed TT won't work, take a look at iGO8, I haven't looked back since. If you have to go the iGO route I'd recommend Linknets iGO8_Ultra_6.0.22 skin. (There may be a version 6.0.23 of higher by the time you read this). Which gives you a few extras and makes it easier and quicker to swap between screens. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

A couple of other applications worth considering are Sygic and McGuider both will have more up to date maps than what you currently have installed to the P350, I wouldn't bother taking a risk to purchase TTN7 because if it doesn't work you won't get any help from TomTom - Mike |

You may get more help in the TomTom Handheld Products forum, where there are more people using TT Navigator. _________________ TT Go Essential |
