Hi Im trying to resurect my MD95000

Since having windows xp updated when I connect the cradle to the PC and the PDA to the cradle it comes up with unknown device.

I have found what I believe the latest drivers for the MD95000 and Mio168 as I believe its a clone of this.

However once the drivers were installed on the PDA and the PC it comes up with Medion Widnows Moble so it does recognise this then it tells me that the drivers havent enabled once reconnected it comes up with Unknown USB device

I have tried everything to get this working and I cannot seem to get it to connect.

I am really frustrated as I`d like to get the Sat Nav fully functioning again.

Ive tried downloading the firware update onto the flash card but it will not work with the PDA sync`ing with the PC but without drivers that will recognise the PDA I am stuck and cannot update the sat nav which is a real shame.

Any useful help advise on how to resurect this great PDA will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Can you bring up Device Manager?

Start Menu, Control Panel, System, Hardware Tab, Device Manager.

Can you see the MD95000 listed?

If yes, with a yellow exclamation mark, try right clicking it and then Update Driver (say no to searching on Windows Update). Try Install Automatically and follow prompts. This has fixed many a fudged driver install.
