Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum. I have a question about my version of CoPilot Live 6. I've just recieved my O2 Orbit and CoPilot Live which is version 6.0.7.36, I've checked ALK website for updates and the lastest release version is 6.0.4.110, can anyone tell me what I am missing or is my version an O2 in house version that is slightly different?
Thanks for any help |

Hi kelvin747
I've just checked the Alk website and the latest patch available to download is still 6.0.4.110
Assuming that you are in the UK?
Can you let us know your findings with the yellow SafetyCamera alert box.
I don't know if you've read the previous threads about this, but most of us have a problem where we get multiple warnings for cameras both on-route and adjacent to our route.
Has this been fixed in 6.0.7.36 |

Thanks nivek22 for you reply. I'm new to satnav, got it on tuesday so I've only just set it up and used it a couple of times (very impressed so far). I will read the threads you mentioned about the camera's and try and do a comparison. I am in the UK by the way in the south east. |

Hi - I might be able to help here as well - I've just upgraded from my old Xda Exec running 6.022 (I think) to an Xda Orbit running the same 6.07.36
I ran the Exec for a year with CoPilot and experienced many of the camera / POI issues
It will be interesting to see if this "special" version is any different / better |

Hi NigelO
When I could not find any reference to the supplied version I went with the lastest ALK version 6.0.4.110, I just had the feeling that 6.0.7.36 O2 supplied was an older version, I'm not fanatical about the newest and greatest software but I do like to keep an eye on any useful bug fixes. |

Hi NigelO
Just had to mention that I upgraded from the XDA Exec to the XDA Orbit as well, I thought the Exec was great but this Orbit for me is fantastic, loved it as soon as I took it out of the box. Just waiting for delivery of the brodit mount to compliment it. :D |

I have stuck with 6.07.36 as it seems to be a far higher version to 6.0.1.22 well in my thinking 6.07 is a higher version than 6.0.1.
I have installed the alk free camera updates and have not noticed any problems as yet.
[EDIT] I have just noticed you are talking about a higher version again but when I go to the ALK website the version showing for ppclive6 is 6.0.1.22 see url below:
http://www.alk.com/support/copilotlive_pocketpc6/updates_patches.asp
Where is version 6.0.4.110 that you are discussing _________________ The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. |

Dave was the Orbit supplied with Co-Pilot 7 Live by O2??
if so where from (town/ city) I thought they (O2) were only supplying version 6 - this is a very nice move on their part if it is the case at no extra cost - Mike |

Hi Mike
Yes - well after forgetting to put in the CoPilot bundle with the new phone after several phone calls they finally sent me V6 - when I called them again to say V7 was the current one they apologised for their cockup and sent me V7 the next day. Hope this helps.
