Just looking on the site and it doesn't say who supplies the new maps, be it teleatles or Navteq. Anyone know? And which is the best? |

All downloaded or DVD maps are by teleatlas ( apart from SA & Oz).
People are actually saying the Navteq v660 WE is better detailed than even the newer Teleatlas v675 but what do I know? |

TomTom ONE Europe and TomTom RIDER uses Navteq. All other TomTom's use TeleAtlas.
The recent map update release is from TeleAtlas. Personally I have found the UK coverage in my area better in TeleAtlas than Navteq. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Maybe this should be added to the FAQs as "who supplies which maps" ?? |

May I suggest a little change to what you've added to the FAQs?
Rather than Quote: | TomTom ONE Europe and TomTom RIDER uses Navteq. All other TomTom's use TeleAtlas. |
would it be clearer if it said something like Quote: | TomTom ONE Europe and TomTom RIDER are supplied with Navteq-based mapping. All other TomToms come with TeleAtlas-based maps.
The RIDER and ONE Europe can also use TeleAtlas maps, but the others cannot use Navteq. |
(I think that's right!) :D |

That's much clearer, thank you. I have amended the FAQ. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Except that the 910 can also use NAVTEQ maps. _________________ Tim |

It's under FAQ / TomTom, the last entry. Here. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I've tried every trick in the book to get my Navteq WE v660 map to run in my One V1 & a 300 but keep getting "No Maps Found".
On a back-up SD card (obviously) I've tried swapping map folders, tried every firmware version I could find and still no luck.
IF it's allowed, can someone please point me in the right direction? |

I believe that NAVTEQ mapping isn't enabled for the original ONE nor the original GO series and nor for any TTN/TTM capable products. From what we can deduce, ONE V3, x10 and RIDER can use NAVTEQ or TeleAtlas mapping and the others can only use TeleAtlas. Clarification is being sought from TomTom. _________________ Tim |
