Hi guys i moved a couple of POIs in my area about a week ago and they have not been moved on the map, roughly how long does it take to move these here. It is very strange though as the Mcdonalds POI in Bootle was in the right place upto about 2 weeks ago and was moved 400 yards down the road, not sure why.

normally they'd be processed within a few days to a week,
however, richard is away at the moment and i'm trying to cover the poi's as well as support emails and speed camera database so they're a bit behind. will try get some done soon though!

Unfortunate juxtapositioning - I think MaFt went on holiday just before Richard, so there's been something of an extra long period without many organ grinders. I was surprised that MaFt issued a new camera database so soon after coming back from holiday - must have been grafting a bit. _________________ Dennis

up until about 2am for 3 nights in a row... i like to try and get releases done around every 2 weeks and also it was suggested to get a new release done just before the expo so people had the most up to date versions for their travels!

Were you born yesterday? I'll bet they suggested that in order to save themselves from the likes of grumpy old me turning up at the Expo tomorrow and giving them grief for a database more than a fortnight old. Yep, you were born yesterday! Would you like to buy a genuine hand-crafted paperclip reset tool? _________________ Dennis

No offence meant MaFt, and glad none was taken, I do like everybody else really apreciate the effort the team puts in, but it is a long time to update, perhaps mote help should have been called in, mind you 2.0am is a little bit early. |
