Sorry if this is a stupid question but I am at a loss as to how it happened or how to fix it.
All my speed alerts seem to be set at 1 MPH, so they keep bonging all the way through the speed limit area - how can I update these, or reset them? |

I would download the speed camera database again, and reinstall it to your Garmin via POI Loader. However, it depends on what you did last time - do you use Ash's Camera Manager, or do you use Custom Mode within POI Loader.. If so, you may need to go and change the settings in those tools, not just reapply the database. _________________ Please don't be offended if I do not reply to a PM - please ask questions via the forums. |

POI Loader has a set of "magic spells" it applies - one of which is to automatically generate speed alerts based on numbers it finds in the name. |

for example, if you have a poi file for Q8 petrol stations then you get an 8mph warning for each one...

If I have a speed camera file, how can I view the data, specifically the bit that shows what the speed limit is. I can edit the files and see the lattitude and longtitude but thats about all?
Thanks |

The speed limit in the PGPSW files is usually the @nn appended to the name/identity of the camera.
Eg
Long Lat ID
-0.26351 51.54892 GATSO:38@40
Indicates a GATSO set for 40mph at the given position.
(Sorry tried to edit it to get headers above data - but the s/w seems to move 'redundant' spaces) _________________ Phil |
