just bought a brand new tomtom one new edition to find it has a dead pixel.. im like what the hell is this type of thing usual or whats happening is tomtoms quality declining.?? |

QA/QC? Obviously very poor.
Take it back and get another one (within 28 days as otherwise you'll have to send it back to TT) |

dead pixel is the worst thing i dont know whether its worth going back through all the hassle.. i am absolutley fuming over this.. Damn you TOMTOM |

Take it back and swap it. Simple.
Think yourself lucky it's not a computer monitor. For those there is some ridiculous "acceptible dead pixel rate" where you have to start really threatening them to get things swapped. |

I have a bright red dot on my new tomtom 910 on the screen IS that a dead pixel? Its really annoying as its very bright.Do you think i should take mine back in case the screen gets worse 8O |

Yes the bright red dot is there ALL the time I think i best return it.It was a new tomtom in a sealed box too.If i get another 1 it may well be the same. |
