just a quick question whats the exact differences between the older go and the go 300..will the bits interchange for example.. and would the later maps work on the older go..

The 300 has Bluetooth, for TT PLUS Services.
It depends what you mean by 'bits'.
Yes the Classic can use the latest Maps and Software. _________________ Richard

The windscreen mounts are different (two multiway connectors on the Go, one on the 300).
IIRC, you can modify the old mount to fit the new unit, if you're up to a bit of DIY. |

its about my 300 dieing on me.. its about to be shipped off to the repaiir shop but ebay is/was an alternative if the old one cant be fixed..
i have the western europe map.. an external aerial plus the normal 300 "bits" .. just wondering if an older original go would do as a spare or replacement..
i think it would i dont really need bluetooth..
