Hi all, have a Dell X5 PDA already loaded with Tom Tom (I bought it second hand) but no speed camera alerts.
can`t find out how to get camera alerts as all the ones I`ve seen listed on eBay etc say they`re for Tom Tom 300, 500 or 3 or 5 and I don`t know if mine is compatible. Is there another model number for mine as when I went to properties it says mine is a Tom Tom navigator 3.03?
Any help greatly appreciated especially where I can download speed camera locations.
Many thanks in advance, |

Welcome to the forums, as you are still running TomTom vs3 you will need to install CheckPOI to obtain the camera alerts for a start download and install the application it can be found HERE you need the 3,2 version, do not try to install the "Latest" version as that is intended to run with TomTom vs5 which you don't have. Once configured you will receive alerts when driving
As for downloading speed camera locations try a subscription to this site, where the information is available, an pre-configured for your device - Mike |

Thanks Mike. I have subscribed to this site for one month and have downloaded something but as my home computer is bordering on the badly behaved I think I`m struggling to open the download-it just comes up as a load od letters/words! I`ll have a bash at the link you have just sent and try again.
Many thanks once again, much appreciated. |

Hi Richard, it was one from this forum and it`s Speed Camera 3.2 version. I just cannot open it without getting that message and I strongly suspect it`s my pc.
I do have a blue tooth dongle, is there a way to bluetooth it to my PDA direct from this website?
Many thanks, |

After the error message you had, I suspect that you have downloaded an Executable File from somewhere.
Did you download from the Speed Cameras LINK? _________________ Richard
