|

I have set my new TT910 up with the TomTom cameras downloaded and updated and that works fine.
I want to add the PocketGPS forum safety cameras which I subscribe to as they are far more accurate and more detailed than TomToms (well done guys!), and I also want to load some other voices and POIs.
Is it possible to use TomTome Home software for this, as I can't figure out how to do it - or do I have to use the old style manual system of copying these files across to the TT910 and just inserting them in the correct place?
Thanks

I'm sure you can use the Home software if you really wanted to - provided you put the files in the right place on your PC for Home to see them. But I don't see any advantage in doing this, and it is quicker to copy them manually. |

Just connect your 910 to the PC on the Home dock. You should then have an extra drive TomTom (? in My Computer. Open this and find the map folder Western_and_Central_Europe (or whatever map your using). Copy the .ov2 and .bmp files from wherever you have stored them to the map folder. At the same time, delete the original TomTom ones. _________________ Paul

Sorry, don't know where the smiley came from.
To use voices, make sure you're using a computer voice (Kate or Simon in the UK) and type in an appropriate message (custom message) when setting up the POI. _________________ Paul
