Hi,
I have just got a Tom Tom Go 500 and have found it excellent. The one thing that I can't find out how to do though is cancel a route.
I know that if I put a route in that I can replace it, but how can I cancel a route and just drive with the Tom Tom on without a route specified ( ie I wan't to drive around without a route programmed in the unit but to be alerted of POI's and speed cameras. )
I know it's probably a simple soloution but I can't work it out.
many thanks in advance

Tap the screen and then click through using the menu screens using arrow on bottom right of screen, Third screen has "clear route". tap on that and hey presto. _________________ Peter

However, it's only there if you have selected 'Show ALL menu options' on the last page of the Preferences menu. _________________ Paul

Sorry, take it all back - may not be true for the 500. _________________ Paul
