ok i gave the garmin i3 with v8 maps a rrun in central london today with no ariel and she worked 98% of the journey. It lost the signal a few times whenthere was high buildings either side but overall it was very good so marks out of ten for the i3 in central london is 9 out of 10
p.s i wonder if switching the gps mode may have improved things ? |

yep and had to get a magmount ariel for 2 reason 1 the cars windscreen issue, only getting 2 to 3 bars up, 2nd too much echoing and weak signals in town was putting me elsewhere and doing its recal thing till i got out of town. _________________ tom tom start 25
