This is the stupid screen saver loaded onto the 4700 you can disable it by selecting the icon in programs then tap and hold the screen while its running and de-select the start automatically option - I can't remember the exact icon and the ipaq is at home but try it when it launches - Mike |

Hi Chris,
I also have a 4700 which I have successfully used in conjunction with TTN for hundred's of miles. In all that time the screensaver has only come on 3 or 4 times (whilst running TTN). A simple touch of the screen and it disappears and returns me to the map.
My understanding was that TTN was sooo processor hungry that you couldn't run anything else whilst it was running. My experiences would appear to bear this out. |

Also, make sure you upgrade to 5.1 or 5.21 - 5.0 will freeze the 4700 after about 40 mins |
