I would be careful with any Maps bought on EBay. There could well be an issue with activation.
I'm not totally sure, but I don't think you will be able to copy an individual map from one Map Set to use on another Device. _________________ Richard

If you have legit maps and legit product codes then you can use any TomTom TeleAtlas map on any device. The Navteq maps seem to be locked to the Rider. _________________ Lutz

If you used 2 maps, each with a different Product Code, would this not mean that every time you changed Maps you would have to do a re-activation? _________________ Richard

No!
I had the original Gb map and MRE maps on my Classic. I then bought the MOWE maps on CD and installed some of those. I left the old MRE map on.
The new maps needed activation (once for all). The MRE map just carried on as usual when I switched to it. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

confirmed - the activation code is tied to the map folder. You can have an infinite number of different maps, all with different activation codes. Well, maybe not infinite ;-) _________________ Lutz
