Anybody using phone handsfree facility for their Go 700?? Enough volume? Clarity? Any feedback to help me make a decision would be appreciated |

From what I've heard, the BT on the 700 is very clear and easy to use once you are able to partner your phone with it. |

The only thing I would recommend is an external microphone. Installing one makes for much better audio for the caller. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I'll second that - I recently fitted an external mic and callers have reported that the sound quality is much better. Also vaguely recall someone posting that when you use the mic built in to the docking shoe, you don't get full duplex (both people can speak at once) - you have to wait until a gap in the other person's conversation to speak, otherwise they won't be able to hear you. This might be because of the proximity of the built-in mic to the TomTom speaker requires half duplex to minimise feedback I guess, but in any case, an external mic is well worth it. |
