|
|
Hi
Is it my pna100 or do a lot of other users have the same problem, when the weather becomes overcast or worst excessivley cloudy my pda losses contact will the satellites and hence doesn't have a clue where it is, then it may regain comms for a short period of time and give false directions.
I have only had my unit for 6 weeks and this last week it has become very noticable,
Is it a fault or do I need to start looking at the weather before using my gps system ?
Any help would be much appreciated.
cheers

Hi
Thanks for the info, it clarified and confirmed my earlier thoughts that I wasn't experting too much from the pda / gps unit by medion, I have since returned the item for a refund and seek a replacement, gonna take a bit more time over the choosing this time
cheers

It could also be something to do with the windscreen its behind! Not saying its definately that, but you never know.
Try it in a different vehicle - if its the same, you could possibly have a duffer?
Also, try it outside, without anything to block the signal except maybe a plastic bag or the waterproof case that is supplied. |

My medionMD95900 is in my Truck with a thick plastic cover over it a windscreen and highrise flats :I do not get any problems with reception
It is spot on and in my eyes a very powerfull sat reciever
I do not even have the built in antenna out
Maybe I have a well made one 8O
But honestly it has no problem with reception
