Can anybody tell me if SmartST Version 3 which is intended for the iCN620 series. I have heard the map's reportedly work on the iCN 510 & 600 and also the USA iCN 510 providing the unit is running V3.
Can anybody tell me if they would work on my iPAq 5550 running GPS 4400? _________________ System iPaq H5550

I'm not quite sure what you're asking (and I don't know what a 4400 is, either).
I have SmartST V3 running on my iPAQ 5555, which is the same as a 5550. It works with both my Navman SE sleeve and my Navman 4100 Bluetooth unit.
The software for the PPC differs from that for the iCN510 which differs again from the software for the 6xx series.
The map CDs are apparently the same, but you'd need registration keys to run the software and V3 maps on your iPAQ. _________________ Tim |

I also have Navman GPS 4400 Map Installer & Navman Pro Desktop 2.6 if that makes any difference? |

Ah, my mistake. I always thought that the standalone BT receiver was a 4100. I wonder what differences there are, if any, between the 4100 and 4400.
I'm pretty sure that the software intended for an iCN620 will not work on a PPC. _________________ Tim |

The stand alone BT unit is a 4100
The 4400 is version 1 software bundled with the 4100 BT receiver.
4400 Smart STv1
4410 Smart STv2
4420 Smart STv3
All bundled with the same BT receiver _________________ Ian.
