Hi,
Do all versions of Fugawi 2 (UK OS mapping) come with a hardware key to prevent them being used on more than one PC? Is that why they don't offer a Demo to download. Or has SuperBiker a 'special' version?
I'm trying to decide whether to buy Fugawi, Anquet or Memory Map to cover the south of England (London to Cornwall). Fugawi seems to be the cheapest because it is covered by one region, not two. Since there appear to be many comments that the Fugawi software is less convenient to use, and their elevation data is less accurate, the lower price seems reasonable.
However, if I buy two regions for either Anquet or MM, I can presumably, legitimately run the software on, say, desktop and laptop PCs. But would buying Fugawi physically prevent me from using the software on more than one PC? In any case, I don't really want to tie up precious ports on a laptop with a 'dongle'.
Thanks to anyone who can confirm whether this is true or not.

I am not too sure what is being refered to here.
I have installed Fugawi (us) and Fugawi (uk) and there is no additional hardware required (certainly no dongle) maybe we are talking about the software license key, which restricts the use to one machine.
I believe that your solution for 2 PCs will work only with MM. Anquet seems to license usage by the individual maps. MM seems to do it by Map Class ie OS/Non OS, and year. _________________ Mike Barrett
