I have been trying to get my brand new BT-318 GPS receiver working with my iPAQ hx2410. I can connect via BT, but am not getting any GPS data from the 318.
Obviously with no avail. I have tried running the BT-318 flat as mentioned to do on other forums to reset the deivce's BT software. I am using the correct NMEAv2 38400 driver but I am not having any luck with selecting the correct BT serial com port. In TomTom GPS I can select BT com port 5 (inbound) only. I can't seem to get com port 8 (outgoing) to display so I can select it. Acording to the very non-specific BT-318 manual , it is the Outgoing com port I need.
Futher: When I connect to the device the device's blue light flashes faster and I can see an outgoing connection diaplyed in the BT mananer. And I have noticed the device obviosly gets a GPS signal when the green Sat light blinks.
Please help, I have consumed most of the weekend on this one. And my fiance is not very happy :x , please help me, help her get her fiance back!!

A recent TomTom Navigator 3 pack will contain an update CD, which contains both Navigator 3.07 and GPS 3.07. If you read the instructions on the back, it will tell you that these versions are recommended for all WM2003SE machines; older versions, especially of the GPS driver, tend not to work correctly on WM2003SE.
