Does anyone know if "wireless hotspots" (the Internet access points you can access with your laptop, etc., when travelling) are available as POIs? For example, for European countries?
Maybe it's not easy to pinpoint them by Lat/Longs because they are often small coffee shops, libraries, etc.?
It would certainly be nice to be able to navigate to them on the TTG ... |

You could try http://www.poihandler.com/
You have to register to access the data - but most of it is free, and they do have a category for WiFi and Hotspots.
I haven't been too impressed with some of their data - but it may be worth a look.

StevenGourlay,
Thanks - I have downloaded the database but haven't yet examined it.

Thanks - I have registered and downloaded a couple of files but haven't yet had a look at them.
Look forward to putting these to the test.
